If you are looking to plan an at home date night, or quiet evening in the comfort of your home with your significant other, we’ve got you covered for recipes and quick eats to help you plan the perfect date night meal!


Dinner Recipes

A first classic staple that most couples might enjoy, would be the homemade chicken fettuccine alfredo. For this recipe, all you are going to need

is 12 ounces of fettuccine, 12 ounces of chicken breast, heavy cream, olive oil, nutmeg, unsalted butter, and fresh parmesan.


Another delicious yet simple staple you might enjoy is the Risotto with lemon and shrimp. For this recipe, you will need ¾ pound of peeled shrimp, diced onions, olive oil, garlic, risotto, lemon zest, white wine, and chicken broth. This recipe is a little more fun because of all the different and elegant flavors it contains.


A third yummy and delicious meal idea for date night, is pasta Pomodoro, because who doesn’t love pasta! The ingredients for this recipe include tomatoes, olive oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, rigatoni, butter, fresh basil, and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and Pecorino Romano.


Delicious Desserts


Since dessert is always a must for an at home date night, the first option is a classic strawberry cheesecake. The recipe for this, calls for cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, butter, graham crackers, egg, flour, lemon zest, vanilla extract, strawberries and strawberry jam.


The next simple and easy dessert idea is a chocolate mousse. The ingredients for this include cream cheese, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, salt, and a sweetener.


One-on-one Time

When it comes to having a date night, you don’t always need to go out to restaurants or spend a lot of money to make it great. There are endless recipes that you can cater to you and your partner’s liking. You can add in beverages, sides, appetizers and fun desserts to spice up your meal!



It is important to remember to not take it too seriously, but to have fun with it. Having a date night with your significant other at home should be a special and great way to have one-on-one time, especially if school or work easily gets in the way a lot of the times.
